Disclaimer
Last updated: September 18, 2026. The full text of both disclaimers that appear in short form in the footer of every page on this site.
Service provider disclaimer
Disclaimer: Missouri Restoration Pros is a free service to assist homeowners in connecting with local service providers. All contractors/providers are independent and Missouri Restoration Pros does not warrant or guarantee any work performed. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to verify that the hired contractor furnishes the necessary license and insurance required for the work being performed. All persons depicted in a photo or video are actors or models and not contractors listed on Missouri Restoration Pros.
Availability disclaimer
Same-day and 24/7 emergency services are subject to provider participation, location, technician availability, and demand. Availability is not guaranteed and may vary by market and appointment capacity.
What the first disclaimer means in practice
Missouri Restoration Pros operates a phone line that routes homeowners to independent providers. It does not dispatch its own technicians, does not employ the crews that arrive, does not set their prices and does not inspect their work. Because the providers are independent businesses, any agreement for work is between you and that provider.
That is why the responsibility for verification sits with the homeowner. Before work begins, ask for the license number where your state or municipality requires one, ask for a certificate of insurance, get the scope and the price in writing, and keep a copy. This is normal diligence for any trade work, and it matters more, not less, when the job is urgent.
What the second disclaimer means in practice
Emergency availability is not a promise. A provider may cover your city but be fully committed on a night when several homes are flooded, and rural areas of Missouri can be harder to reach quickly than the metro markets. When you call, the dispatcher tells you what is realistically possible for your address at that moment rather than an arrival time that may not hold.
What this site does not claim
- No physical addresses, office locations or mailing addresses are published, because the service operates by phone only.
- No staff names, employee counts, years in business, awards, certifications, review counts or star ratings are claimed.
- No customer testimonials or case studies are published, and no photographs or videos are used to depict contractors.
- No statistics are invented. Where numbers appear, they are widely accepted industry facts, such as mold being able to begin growing on wet materials within 24 to 48 hours, or clearly framed as typical price ranges that vary by provider and market.
Guidance is general, not specific advice
The guides and city pages on this site describe common conditions and typical practices. They are not an inspection, engineering report, insurance determination or professional recommendation for your particular property. Building materials, codes, insurance policies and local conditions differ, and a qualified professional on site can see things a web page cannot.
Safety first
Nothing on this site overrides common sense in a dangerous situation. Do not enter standing water that may be in contact with live electrical current, do not attempt to pump a flooded basement before checking the structure, and call 911 if anyone is trapped, injured or in immediate danger. Emergency response for life-safety situations comes first, always before restoration work.
